March 16-20, 2020
8:30am-12:30pm

Spend a week cracking codes and solving riddles in this all-new, one-of-a-kind March Break Camp for kids ages 12 to 15 years. Campers will learn about how escape rooms are designed, built, and operated, while also playing through a ton of puzzles. Want to know the best part??

You’ll make your own escape room!

Build skills for life and have a great time!

Campers will learn all about creative problem solving, communication, and iterative design. And they’ll develop a few new tools to help with design and project planning!

  • Day 1: Introduction to paper prototyping, environmental puzzles, and various kinds of escape rooms and quest-style games.
  • Day 2: Learn about story and motive, and choose what kind of escape room they’re going to build.
  • Day 3: Learn about meta-puzzles and start building.
  • Day 4: Campers start stringing puzzles together and testing their rooms.
  • Day 5: Campers finish building their escape rooms!
  • Showcase: Families are invited to join us between 6pm-8pm Friday night to play through the brand new escape rooms!
Drop off between 8am and 8:30am, pick-up between 12pm and 12:30pm.
There will be a 15 minute break each day for snacking and relaxing. Campers are asked to provide their own snacks and remember to bring a water bottle with them. Please refrain from bringing peanuts!

Make it a full day of fun with Laser Tag or Esports!

Looking for more fun at the bunker? We have esports and laser tag available every afternoon starting at 1pm. We are able to offer campers a special deal if you book an activity after camp every day of the week. Just contact us to book!

Single activities can be booked through our March Break page.

Play through one of our awesome, immersive rooms

It wouldn’t be escape room camp without playing through a real escape room. Campers will get to play our War Games rooms, and get a peek behind the scenes at how we run our escape rooms.

Build an escape room prototype!

Not only will campers get to play through some awesome pre-fab puzzles, they’ll get to build their own! Our experienced staff will help them make up their own puzzles, and put together a paper prototype of their own original quest game!

We invite families to come test their wits against our campers’ escape room designs. Family night will take place on Friday evening.

"What's a Paper Prototype?"

Great question!

Paper prototyping comes from application and software design! It’s a “low fidelity” prototype of an imagined final product. A paper prototype for a mobile app is traditionally made up of doodles, sticky notes, and clip boards, and allows designers to test their ideas on users at very little cost and effort. It’s a part of an iterative design process – a modern design technique which is highly valued in the tech sector.

Our paper prototype escape rooms will be made of paper, tape, construction paper, cardboard, and anything else we find around that might be useful! The end result will be a low-fidelity escape room which can be played through with a little imagination and some instruction from the designers.
