Grand Opening and March Break Madness

This is it!

The news you’ve all been waiting for for

So.

Long.

Escape Room Grand Opening is here!

Kermit the frog is very excited
Yayyyyy!

After months of work, many revisions, improvements, and much programming, our War Games Escape Rooms are almost ready. And they look sick

light leaks through a door, open just a crack
#NoSpoilers

Over the past couple weeks we’ve been busy beta testing and tweaking our rooms so they are the best they can be! Our brave groups of volunteers faced the daunting task of saving the world from nuclear devastation. How did they do?

Pretty well! And they totally enjoyed themselves.

But why take our word for it?

Here’s what some of our beta testers had to say:

Praise for War Games Escape Rooms:

Thanks to all our beta testers! We couldn’t have made these rooms the best possible experience without your help.

Thanks also to Mind Hack Room Escape and Escape Artists Halifax, our consulting partners in this project. Their hard work and expertise really shine through in the finished product, and we can’t wait to show them off to the world! Be sure and check out their escape rooms, too, if you get a chance.

Grand Opening Event

To show you just how excited we are to finally have these rooms open to the public, we’re putting together a Grand Opening event! April 6th, 2019, come on out to the bunker for some Cold War fun.

Not just escape rooms… oh, no. We’re throwing in all-afternoon tours, AND laser tag! Book one, two, or all three experiences at once! It’s going to be a super fun day at the bunker. Our biggest single day event yet!

And there will be so much more to come.

Keep an eye out for more details as we get closer to the April 6th date.

Want to be the first to know when tickets go on sale? Our March Break events were sold out sometimes within hours – so you totally do.

Join our newsletter!

You’ll be updated as soon as experiences are available for purchase. You might even get a sweet little discount now and then… just something a little birdie told me!

March Break Breakdown

March Break was a huge success thanks to you guys!

We wound up adding in FIVE extra family laser tag time slots! And they totally sold out

Our tours didn’t do too badly either: we were thrilled to show 75 people around the bunker last week – and that’s just our public tours! March was a huge month for private parties, tours, and laser tag galore.

Private bookings for April continue rolling in, so if you’ve been waiting to book your corporate team building outing, or hockey team party, or private birthday bash, now’s the time to get in touch with our Events Manager Tyler and start planning!

Good Karma

Barefoot Farmers Association

And in case we forgot to mention – thank you! Your attendance to these events directly benefits our monthly charitable cause. Remember, every month Enter the Bunker donates $1 for every ticket sold to a local charitable cause.

This month we’re giving to the Barefoot Farmers Association of Musquidoboit. The Association helps teach people how to grow their own food – and donates fresh, local produce to the food bank! How awesome is that!

Know of a local cause you think deserves some attention? Let us know!

We will be holding another round of voting to determine who will be the recipient of our donations for the month of April. Keep an eye on our Facebook page for updates.

Until next time!
